smartphone Nokia Lumia 720. And no wonder, Nokia has reported a 27% growth in revenue in the last quarter

10 things i love about the Nokia Lumia 720
1. Looks: I am more of a what's inside sort of a person so I see what the smartphone has as its internals first thing but if you look at the device, it is quite good looking as well. It looks like a smaller Lumia 920 and that is surely a good thing for the smartphone. It feels quite robust as well.

 2. Screen: The smartphone comes with a 4.3-inch display with 800x480 resolution. The screen looks nothing short of amazing that is because every pixel has 3 sub-pixels ( the argument of it having only 217 ppi is lame ) The clearblack screen improves sunlight legibility. Its got beautiful viewing angles as well. You can use it with one hand and can work your thumb to the edges of the screen easily. The size is ideal.

 3. Senstivity: The smartphone works with nails and gloves and Nokia is making a big deal about it and they should too because the smartphone has a sensitivity that not even flagships from some of the mobile giants have.

 4. Gorilla Glass 2: The smartphone's display is protected by Gorilla Glass 2 which makes it resistant to scratches and other damages. And you do not usually see Gorilla Glass 2 on smartphones which have been built on budget.

 5. Camera: The Nokia Lumia 720 comes with a 6.7-megapixel camera which sounds a bit different but in terms of performance, it is simply class apart. It has a 1/3.4 inch sensor and is coupled with a LED flash as well. A two-stage shutter which allows photo shooting like a pro: with the first press the camera focusses, with the second it shoots.  Its also equipped with a HD 1.3 MP wide angle secondary camera for HD video calls/skype.

 7. Battery: One of the strongest points of the Nokia Lumia 720 is its battery life. It has a massive 2,000 mAH battery unit which is lithium polymer and not lithium-ion. Li-pol batteries last way longer than Li-Ion.

 8. Expandable memory: The Nokia Lumia 720 has an inbuilt memory of 8 GB but the sweet part of the deal is the 64 GB expandable memory option which is not present on any of the mid range smartphones currently on sale. You get 7 Gb of free skydrive space as well.

 9. Nokia exclusive applications: Nokia is providing some really useful applications for its Lumia range of devices which gives them the edge over the rest. Other than that you also get the entire miscrosoft office in your palm - word, PDF, powepoint, excel. Very recently nokia and bigflix have announced a tie up where bigflix will provide the lumia 720 users a free 3 month movies subscription. All this makes the deal sweet.

 10. Price: Its priced around Rs 17000 at your local store which makes the phone a fantastic deal considering all its great features and specs. I wonder why most products online are priced more where instead it should be the opposite.

 P.s - Unlike the past, windows phone 7 --> windows 7.5 (mango) --> windows 7.8 and next thing it was the end of the road for Windows OS 7 when windows phone 8 was launched, all that is about to change. Microsoft has announced that Windows phone 8 devices will now be upgraded to its next platform windows 9 or windows blue whatever they name it. So, your practically buying the next windows 9 device as well when you buy a nokia lumia 720 which to me is pretty awesome!

 The only Con:
1. RAM - Its like you own a long beautiful BMW sedan with all top notch luxurious interiors, the fine italian leather seats and more but then to your surprise you find out it has a maruti 800 engine inside lol. If only it had a 1gb ram i would have picked it over the lumia 920. The app loading time might be just a little slow and few future apps/games requiring 1 gb of ram could not be compatible. But not to worry, there are ample apps that will run smooth on its 512mb ram.

 You got to give it to nokia, I'm going with 4.5 stars. If you are looking for a mid-range device, your search stops here at Nokia Lumia 720!

Ever since I bought the new Nokia Lumia 720  I think I have fallen in love. Be it the beautiful and classy unibody design of my smartphone, or its set of awesome features; they set my pulse racing every time. The 4.3-inch IPS ClearBlack display of my Lumia 720 is made from sculpted glass and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection. This not just makes it strong and resistant to scratches, but also helps it render graphics, images and videos in pristine detail. The screen is so sensitive, that I need to just brush my fingers against it for an instant response. My Nokia Lumia 720 comes with a powerful 6.7 MP rear camera that comes with the enhanced Smart Shoot digital lens, that not just helps me compose a perfect shot, but also lets me erase unwanted elements from my snap. The front wide-angle HD camera is great for clicking self-portraits or guided group snaps and then editing them with the Glam Me app. I can keep a tab on all my email accounts, stay in touch with my pals and keep abreast of my work; all at one go, thanks to my Nokia Lumia 720.

Great Buy
Except for the SAR value of this product, which itself is very much less then the limit but comparatively more then other devices, all the features like screen, design and most importantly, the camera of this device is the best feature of this device.
Capturing pics in the dark feature of this phone is only unable to beat the lumia 920 phone. And is better then other higher megapixel phone devices like galaxy note 2, xperia z and many others.
If you have a budget of around 20k, this is the best thing you can get.

Best Lumia Ever
Lumia 920 with pure view, great phone but too costly, Lumia 820 not as great as 920 no pure view on it, still 24000 bucks!! Lumia 620 thickest phone and with lowest battery capacity 1300mAh only, no carl zeiss tessar lens, only 3.8" display, Ok VGA front cam, NFC is there but no wireless charging and no gorilla glass for protection!!! Lumia 520 4" display but no front cam, no Nokia clear black display, no flash, no carl zeiss lens and no gorilla glass for protection!!! But Lumia 720 has carl zeiss lens, has gorilla glass2, great camera with 1/3.6'' sensor size main cam with HD recording, has flash, has front cam with HD recording!, has wireless charging just like higher end lumia's and finally superb battery of 2000mAh which is equal to Lumia 920 but less that Lumia 820!! This is the best affordable thinnest Lumia at just 9mm thickness with almost all the features for Lumia's 920 & 820!!(except for RAM and Full HD 1080p Recording which is missing in Nokia Lumia 720 Almost all the other features are present for Just 18000 Bucks!!)

The novelty behind the High Amplitude Audio Capture is a microphone with two different sensitivity levels for recording. Later, the dual channel combines to give a broad dynamic range that sounds clear even if the audio is recorded with lots of distortion.
Nokia Lumia HAAC recording technology can record up top 140 decibels without any audible distortion, while most of other smartphones find it hard when noise levels go beyond 110 decibels.
Drawback:-
Only drawback is the 512Mb RAM. But still all wp8 phone like HTC 8S in this same range has same amount of RAM minus the front camera minus Nokia city lens for almost the same price. RAM doesn't matter since WP8 is very light compared to android(LAGDROID lol). Also all androids (Lagdroids) in this price range are duds. Especially those fucking good for nothing Samsungs.
